It required a long struggle and the involvement of the entire Indonesian people to free themselves from colonial rule. Resistance movements emerged in every region to fight against the colonization experienced by the Indonesian nation.<\/p>\n

One of the regions in Indonesia that actively resisted the colonizers was Bali. To commemorate these resistance efforts, the Bajra Sandhi monument was erected in Bali, which houses a museum. If you visit Bali, it’s worth visiting this monument to learn about the history of the Balinese people’s struggle. The location is in Renon area (Jl. Raya Puputan No.142), Denpasar, Bali.<\/p>\n

Not only does the Bajra Sandhi monument hold Hindu philosophical values, but it is also rich in symbols of independence. The steps at the main entrance of the monument number 17. The grand pillars inside the monument total 8, with a height of 45 meters. These numbers represent the date of Indonesia’s independence on August 17, 1945.<\/p>\n
